Why this site exists

Not a slogan. A county committee.

BooneRepublicans.org is the public front door for the Boone County Republican Committee — the body that organizes precincts, recruits candidates, and speaks for Republican voters between elections.

The work is local on purpose. School boards, quorum court, the sheriff, the prosecutor, the county judge: these are the offices that shape a Tuesday in Boone County more than a speech in Washington. A serious county party treats them that way.

This page is the start. Meetings, principles, and a way to raise your hand. The rest gets built in the room, not on a homepage.

What we stand for

Limited government. Ordered liberty. A county that can look itself in the eye.

Arkansas already has the motto. Regnat Populus — the people rule. A county party earns that only if it tells the truth in public and does the unglamorous work in between elections.

01

The constitution is not a suggestion

Rights are prior to government. The county party defends them, including the right to keep and bear arms and the right to speak without a permit from the fashionable.

02

Taxes and debt are moral facts

Every dollar taken is a dollar a family in Alpena, Diamond City, or Harrison no longer has. Spend it in the open, or do not spend it.

03

Parents, not agencies

Schools answer to mothers and fathers. Children are not a constituency for whoever currently holds an office.

04

Elections you can audit

Rolls that are clean, polls that are watched, results that a neighbor can explain. Confidence is built, not announced.

The work

Three jobs. Done in public.

Organize

Precinct captains, poll watchers, and a committee that meets whether or not it is an election year. The fourth Monday is not optional.

Recruit

Find Boone County Republicans willing to stand for quorum court, school board, and county office — then help them run a campaign a citizen can respect.

Account

Watch the quorum court, the budget, and the ballot. Ask the question in the room. Publish the answer.

The room

Fourth Monday. Harrison. Come as you are.
